Could BMW be planning a cheeky track model launch? After the initial debut of the 2008 M3, BMW was quick to dismiss any rumors that a CSL – follow up to the successful E46 M3 CSL – version was in the works. The economic crisis didn’t help either.

The additional aerodynamics and the large rear wing give the impression that it could also possibly be a GT4 model (racing class with homologation rules close to production vehicles). Now that BMW’s sales performance has gotten a bit better in the US over the past 2 months, could the positive vibes be taking over now, meaning some risks are on the way? Let’s hope so!

Stay tuned! Pun intended.
