As driver safety is our prime concern, only sports-cars are allowed to register. However, we are still evaluating the capabilities of sport-SUVs on the track.

I agree with Khaled that safety would be a prime concern for SUV’s, especially for the G55. The car has an extremely high center of gravity and regardless of the monstrous high power output of its engine, it was never conceived with track days in mind.
I would say that the new BMW X5M and X6M would be more than capable of lapping circuits. Possibly the Cayenne Turbo S but I’m not sure.

Those SUVs are fun on the road but not safe for the track. I can’t say for sure that these are not capable but from my 20+ years experiance with R/C cars I can say that High grip + High COG + high speed = rollover!!
