    This is for vehicles that did not have stickers applied during the Carwash event in Kuwait. We will be providing stickers at this time and assisting with installation. Participating cars without sponsor stickers will not be allowed to enter the track.

  • 11.15am – 1.45pm: Open lapping for briefed drivers
  • 12.15pm – 1.45pm: Timing for points (Drivers will only be allowed to drive cars registered to them)
Lunch

Evening Session

Drag
  • 7.00pm – 8.45pm: Quartermile Drag race

Important Track Rules


  • Briefing session will start at 9:45am on Day 1; drivers who have not completed the briefing will not be allowed to drive on the track.
  • The times listed below are absolute – doors for briefing will be closed at 9.45AM on Day 1 & 11.00am on Day 2
  • Official lap timings will be done at the last hour and half of every session (and two hours during GP Circuit); drivers will only be allowed to drive their own cars at this time.
  • Only registered drivers will be able to drive and not the passengers. Not even for one lap this is for the safety and fairness of other registered drivers.
  • Transponders will be attached to your cars, make sure they are removed before you leave the track if they are lost or damaged you will be liable for it.
  • No drifting or stunt-driving will be allowed on the track; your car will be removed from the track and not allowed to participate if you drive dangerously or aggressively.
  • All times will be recorded; there is no need to race each other on track.

GulfRun Notes


Gasoline
Gas stations in Bahrain do not offer ultra-gasoline; they only offer premium and super gasoline. As the lower octane gasoline might be an issue for tuned and modified vehicles, we highly recommend you bring fuel or purchase racing gas from Bahrain. Please contact us if you have need any assistance procuring fuel.
Helmets
Helmets are required on the track; we recommend that you bring a Helmet (Motorcycle helmets allowed) with you. We will have a limited number of helmets available; however they may not be your size.
Tires
Pirelli will be available on track to provide tire services; they will also have a limited stock available if you would like to purchase tires from them. If your car has special considerations and you will need another set during day 2, we advise you to bring a set with you.
Insurance
We highly recommend that you contact your Insurance Company to extend insurance coverage to the GCC region. GulfRun is not responsible for any damages and or accidents that occur during the event or transportation.
ID Cards
You will be issues an Event ID during the briefing – Please have your pass on you at all times; this will be used for registration and to identify yourself as the driver during timings.

Competition Rules


CIRCUIT (INNER / OUTER / GP) COMPETITION
Fastest lap times on three of the Bahrain International Circuits tracks.

Circuit competition will consist of three tracks; points will be awarded for the fastest completion time per track. The winner will judged based on combined points from all three tracks; trophies will be awarded to the top three spots in each class. Official timings will be recorded during the last session (specific times are listed in schedule) of each track. In the case that two cars have the same points in the same class, the trophy will be awarded to the participant with the fastest combined time. We will be awarding points based on the F1 Point scoring system (for seasons 2003-2009)

AUTOCROSS COMPETITION
Agility above power in the Autocross Competition.

Autocross competition will be judged by fastest completion time, trophies will be awarded to the top three spots. Classes are not taken into consideration for this competition, all cars will compete together. You will be allowed up to three runs, the fastest time will be recorded.

QUARTERMILE DRAG COMPETITION
Quartermile shootout between classes.

Quartermile competition will be judged by fastest completion time for their respective class, trophies will be awarded to the top three spots in each class. You will be allowed up to three runs, the fastest time will be recorded. You can opt to race with another car on the drag strip or alone.
